Patios built on a compacted base that survives the freeze-thaw cycle
A paver patio is only as good as what sits underneath it. Along the Wasatch Front the ground freezes and thaws dozens of times between November and April, and a patio laid on thin, poorly compacted road base will heave, dip, and open joints by its second spring. We excavate to full depth, build up compacted road base in lifts, screed a proper bedding layer, and lock the field in with a solid edge restraint and polymeric sand. The result is a patio that still sits flat and tight years after the crews have gone.
Anyone can set a paver. What separates a patio that looks good for one season from one that looks good in ten years is base depth, compaction, and drainage. That is where we spend the time.

It depends on square footage, access, how much excavation the site needs, and the material you pick. Every project starts with a free on-site visit and an itemized written estimate, so you can see exactly what the base, the material, and the labor each cost. First-time customers get up to 15% off.
It will if the base is right. We excavate past the topsoil, build compacted aggregate base in lifts rather than one dump, screed a thin bedding layer, and restrain every open edge. That combination is what keeps a paver field flat through a Utah winter, and it is what we quote.
Yes, and we insist on it. Every hardscape we build is graded to move water away from structures, every retaining wall gets drain rock, filter fabric, and a daylighted drain line, and we'll flag existing drainage problems on the estimate walk even if they weren't what you called about.
We do. Parking lots, sidewalks, curbs, aprons, HOA common areas, and commercial landscape maintenance. Commercial work is phased around your operating hours so a lot or an entrance is never closed longer than it has to be.
